The Hinchliffe was formerly known as The Hinchliffe Arms and before that The Hinchliffe Arms Hotel. We have modified the name to reflect the more brasserie type atmosphere you experience when dining with us or just calling in for a drink.

Situated south facing at the valley floor with two rivers crossing under a bridge with only the village church and one or two houses for company a more idyllic setting cannot be found. Weather permitting we are bathed in sunshine all day long.

Our food style is traditional English with a continental feel. We offer several menus including Teatime specials from £5.00, a fixed price lunch or early bird (£11.95) plus our full a' la carte and old favourites. All our dishes are prepared fresh on the premises by our chefs Phil and Michaela to our own recipes including the accompaniments such as chutneys, glazes, dressings, pestos, bread etc etc

We also have an extensive wine list and choice of cask conditioned real ales and lagers
